L’unico grande locale può essere frazionato con pareti divisorie ricavando cucina, soggiorno, stanza da letto e bagno. La vecchia porta d’ingresso è contornata da un prezioso portale in pietra bianca e si apre su un caratteristico vicolo con antiche case in pietra, le finestre con balconi da restaurare spaziano sull’intera Valle Peligna fino alla storica città di SULMONA.

Il paese ha poco meno di 800 abitanti, è a 450 m. slm in posizione molto soleggiata e presenta alcuni negozi, bar, ristoranti, ufficio postale ed anche parcheggi comunali; da diversi livelli partono sentieri che permettono escursioni di varia difficoltà e lunghezza sulle circostanti montagne del Parco Nazionale Morrone/Majella con boschi, altipiani, sorgenti, rifugi attrezzati oltre ad interessanti resti di antichi insediamenti. In vari momenti dell’anno ma soprattutto in estate fervono nel paese attività culturali e ricreative di interessante livello. La vicina città di Sulmona è raggiungibile anche in autobus in pochi minuti; usando invece l’auto si arriva in 10’ all’ingresso “Pratola-Sulmona” della A25, in 40’/50’ all’aeroporto di Pescara, alle spiagge dell’Adriatico e ai numerosi comprensori sciistici. Roma è a 90’ (più di 2 ore in treno o autobus).

Small partially restored stone house in village with breathtaking views
Lovely small stone house partially restored in the upper part of ROCCACASALE (AQ), a village from medieval structure lying at the foot of the old castle with stunning views. The House has a single level with a large place of about 47 sqm (G). The roof is new, totally remade, isolated and covered with old tiles; below remains "on sight" with large Glulam beams. The walls were reinforced with iron chains, outside can be embellished further by highlighting the structural stones. The floor is ready to be paved, was installed and fitted flue pipes for electrical equipment; the water system is working and was also made the connection to sewerage. The only major local can be split with walls drawing kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The old entrance door is surrounded by a precious white stone portal and opens onto a characteristic alleyway with old stone houses, the windows with balconies to restore range over the entire Peligna Valley to the historical city of SULMONA.

The Village has just under 800 inhabitants, is a 450 m asl in very sunny position and has a few shops, bars, restaurants, post office and municipal parking lots; by leaving paths different levels that allow excursions of varying difficulty and length the surrounding mountains of the Majella/Morrone National Park with woodlands, plateaus, springs, mountain huts equipped besides interesting remains of ancient settlements. At various times of the year but especially in summer in the Village are organized cultural and recreational activities of interesting level. The nearby town of Sulmona is also reachable by bus in few minutes; using instead the car you reach the entrance "Pratola-Sulmona" A25 in 10’, the airport of Pescara, the Adriatic beaches and the numerous ski resorts in 40’/50’.
